Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We were looking for a good breakfast spot in the Oregon District and ended up at Lily’s. I loved the vibe almost immediately. It’s colorful, quirky, extremely LGBTQ+ friendly, and has this tropical/rainforest aesthetic that somehow feels fun rather than gimmicky. Plants and botanical references are everywhereβ€”even a series of ornate picture frames filled with what looks like grass turf. The whole place has the relaxed feeling of stumbling into a restaurant while on vacation. They also have a decent alcohol selection. It’s definitely not a bourbon bar, but the drink menu felt more like something you’d find at a resortβ€”mimosas and plenty of fun daytime cocktailsβ€”which made brunch feel a little more special. The real standout, though, was the smoked salmon Benedict. I’ve had plenty of Benedicts, but this was fantastic. Sourdough layered with pickled radish, arugula and smoked salmon, topped with poached eggs, hollandaise and capers. There was so much flavor and texture going on that every bite was different. Absolutely delicious. The potatoes were the only thing I didn’t love. Next to all those bright, robust flavors, they tasted a little bland. Some hot sauce, salt and pepper help

We stumbled on Lily's with time to kill before a show st Blind Bobs. We LOVED it. The atmosphere is super cute. The food was amazing. Lots of vegetarian options. And our server was super sweet and helpful.

Stopped for lunch with a friend. I didn't research ahead of time and I was pleasantly surprised when I had the BLT. The food was seasoned perfectly, the bacon was crispy and delicious, and the potatoes were so so so good. We also had cocktails that were delicious but also beautifully served and perfect for a cute artsy picture. Great time!

Wonderful staff and even the other customers were nice. This is the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing. I loved the food and so did my husband. We thank the staff for being so kind and providing us with and excellent experience.

The restaurant is so cute, eclectic, and so clean! Our server tonight was Jamie, and she was damn near the best server I’ve ever had! Her recommendations were spot on, her hospitality was unmatched, and it was a wonderful experience. I went with some coworkers, and we all tried different things, and we shared 3 appetizers. EVERYTHING we tried was so yummy I will be coming back with friends, and am so glad I found this little gem! If you stop by, make sure to ask for Jamie if she’s servingβ€”or a drink recommendation if she’s your bartender!
